Garden Landscaping in Astley

We were recently contacted by a new client in Astley to talk about landscaping their garden. They had moved into a new build with no character and the garden on a slope making it unusable and difficult to maintain. The client had dreams of a beautiful garden that would be easy to maintain and would be great for entertaining guests with a BBQ or get together in the summer.

We visited the home in Astley to do a site survey and immediately saw the scale of the problem. The garden had a severe slope and the gardens surrounding it were all on different levels.

After drawing up plans and speaking to the client it was decided that we’d completely re landscape the garden from the ground up, this included building the garden so that it was on two levels, re-turfing, adding in some sleeper steps with porcelain tile infills, sleeper flowerbeds and building a porcelain patio. This would give the garden the wow factor whilst making it easy to maintain and provide the perfect space for entertaining guests in the Summer.

Once the plans where approved we got to work immediately, with it being such a big job it was spread over three weeks. We started by digging out the slope on the garden to provide us with a clean sheet to work from, once that was completed, we could build the garden to be on two levels, making it easy to maintain and zoning of different areas of the garden. Next, we built the sleeper steps with porcelain infills and re-turfed the grass. By this point the garden was really starting to take shape and the client could see their dream coming together. After this we built the porcelain patio area a key feature for the client who are big on entertaining, they chose some beautiful porcelain flags that looked amazing once installed. Finally, we built some raised flowerbeds made from sleepers, these act as a functional feature that look absolutely great and look even better over time, with the beds being raised it means that the client can plant anything in them without worry of the plant spreading elsewhere in the garden.

After three weeks of grafting the transformation was complete, the client told left us a review on Google saying Fantastic job laying porcelain flags and raised beds with sleepers to transform my garden into a beautiful space. I can’t recommend them enough, am so pleased with their work.”

The team were really happy with the results of this job and seeing the look on the clients face after their garden transformation was amazing.
